Greetings everyone!

I am from warm sunny South Africa!! Home of the Big 5 and Boerewors :) I have a keen interest in alternative energy and all sorts of gadgets.

Currently I work in the renewable energies sector. Which is awesome, as my passion is to see renewable sources of energy become the standard source of our energy.

Although green energy is a passion, I also enjoy experimenting with lots of other different ideas and playing around with new concepts. I have a very curiuos mind and love learning about new techs, especially those that have a direct impact on individual lives.

I have a whole lot of projects going on at the moment, one of which is to provide my entire household's energy supply, from heating to lighting, via as many alternative methods as I can. The goal being to make an adequate system for as little as possible. When I'm finished (or as I finish each section) I would like to write about it and put it here on Hub pages. Perhaps there are other people that are also interested and they would like the info!
